I heart San Francisco – part two

Take two, here we have the cool Haight (Camden esq’; where the hippy movement began), Castro (the pink end of toon), The Misson (where it’s all going on apparently!), Alacatraz, the fan bloody tastic (sorry for the language, but this place rocks – pier 45 btw) Musee Mechanqiue where I spent the best $5 of my life- in quarters, on fortune tellers (they were plastic) dancing folks, silent movies, pin ball machines and I must admit I’ve picked up a change your penny fetish and oh, of course, I could not have came to SF and not indulged in a vino tour. Hey, anyone hiring over here? X

I heart San Francisco – part one

It’s my last night here and I am so very sad to be leaving. I was not supposed to be here for as long, but I had to keep extending my trip; this place has stolen my heart!

I could quite easily write 10 posts about this fab city, but I’ll try to keep it manageable; a gal has vino to drink. I have been selective with my pix, but it looks like at least two posts worth. I don’t think a life time here would be enough to capture the charm of SF, but here goes…

Rather than goo-ing about everywhere I’ve been, I’ll be concise (yeh, for a change), so here you have; Union Square, China Town, Coit Towers and the superb views, the Golden Gates bridge (painted in International Red), Lombard Street (the curviest and steepest street; can’t imagine a hill start in the snow would be fun), the seals down on Pier 39, Japan Town, Filmore Street and Postcard Row… How’s this for starters? X
